Circular Dreaming

Music created and performed by Valerie Mih. This animation is what helped break me into freelancing. My friend Valerie wanted me to create animation that would be projected next to her when she played this piece live at concerts, and gave me free reign over the overall look and flow of the piece. I created artwork in Illustrator, put the overall piece together and animated it in After Effects using a variety of effects and techniques, and this caught the eye of a producer from a local motion graphics house at one of the concerts. That producer approached me asking if I was looking for work, and the rest was history from there!
