A Shiny Sphere

This is a study of using radial gradients, gaussian blur filters, and specular highlighting techniques and positioning to make a drawing look 3D.

A shiny teal sphere. There are two small specular highlights on the top-right quadrant of the sphere, and the sphere itself has a radial gradient that starts with a light blue patch, spreads to a teal through the main body of the sphere, and ends in black as the shadow in the bottom-left area of the sphere. There is a blurry drop shadow under the sphere to help give it depth.
