TADA Logo

In August of 2023, I was brought on to the Center for Assistive Technology Training - Northwest as a contractor to help develop a tactile art and design curriculum for Teachers of the Visually Impaired. We called it TADA, or Tangible Art & Design Adventures!

This logo encompasses the results of the skills K-12 students can gain by completing our lessons and the adventure; being able to build and design their own digital content non-visually and have it ready for tactile output.

The logo consists of a slightly tilted and aged map with light gridlines and some illustrated representations of mountains in the lower-left corner. A dotted blue pathway marks a curving trail across the map, ending in a large X. 4, upside-down teardrop-shaped map pins dot the path at different intervals, each one having a black outline, a red infill, and a black circle filling in the center of the round drop shape. Above each pin sits a capital letter, spelling out TADA. Above each print letter, there is the braille represntation of the same capital letter. A ballpoint pen is hanging out on the right side of the map, tilted to the right and pointing towards the center of the X, with the X and the pen resemvling an exclamation mark.
